These past couple of weeks have been so full — in the best ways! Growth and change are quite uncomfortable for me and I have been in a busy season of growing and changing as I’ve been working on getting everything set up and ready to go for my new Sourdough selling adventure! I’m so excited to finally have it going and absolutely cannot wait to see how God uses it for His glory. Whatever happens and wherever it leads, I’ve learned so much already. My first official porch pick-up is happening this week and to say I’m nervously excited for it would be quite the understatement! Thank you for being so patient with me and for helping me along as I work out the wrinkles as they show up.
Whenever you have a project that causes you to stretch yourself it opens up the opportunity for so much growth and, in this case, gratitude! I have received so much encouragement in the last few weeks that I don’t even know how to properly express what it has meant to me! To all of you that have cheered me on, helped with kids, tasted my bread, prayed for me, ordered from me, helped me fill out forms, helped me get my logo created, and on and on — THANK YOU is all I can say! God has been so kind to place all of you people in my life and I’m so grateful that you have allowed Him to work through you to be such a blessing in my life. Marc has been especially encouraging and helpful and I couldn’t do any of this without his love, help, and support!
As I’ve been transferring my blogs from their old site to this one, I’ve been reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness throughout my life. He is just so good — whether life is hard or going well, He remains steadfast and faithful. No matter what is going on in my life or in the world around me, I’m eternally grateful for His love and steadfastness through all of it. I’m also grateful for the gifts He’s given me and am excited to share my baking with others and take you all on this new journey while continuing on my favorite journey of being a follower of Jesus, a wife, and a mama. It is my prayer and hope that you will find hope and encouragement in this space as I continue to share what I’m learning. There is hope and joy in Jesus that can’t be found in anyone or anything else!
I’m going to end this post the same way I ended the last one on my old site — with one of my favorite “hope” verses because this world is in desperate need of hope, joy, and peace which are all found in Jesus! “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13
